Barringtons Cooper Taylor has welcomed several new faces to its team at Nantwich.

In December Cooper Taylor on Barker Street in Nantwich merged with Barringtons.

This has created creating one of the biggest independent firms of chartered accountants in the area, with offices
in Stoke-on-Trent and Cheshire as well as in Shropshire at Newport and Market Drayton.
2011 is heralding a new era for Cooper Taylor after a merger with
Barringtons in Newcastle.

Barringtons, which also has offices in Market Drayton and Newport in
Shropshire, have experts in VAT and customs duties, tax
investigations, litigation support and through their associated
company BCR, insolvency and corporate recovery.

Its fourty five strong team also advises on business growth and HR
issues.

Managing Director Phil Wood said: "This merger is not only a
geographical joining of the two firms, but a great opportunity for the
existing clients of Cooper Taylor to benefit from a much wider range of
services."

"We know many of them have been on the firm's books for decades
and have built up long-standing relationships and we can promise it
will be no change there."

"Together we can offer the services of a team of fifty five friendly
specialists covering all the legal, financial and fiscal aspects of running
a business."

"It is an exciting move for both of us and we look forward to going into
2011 as part of a larger, new-look firm."

Still at the helm at Cooper Taylor in Nantwich after more than 40 years
is Philip Taylor.

The pair have long careers in chartered accountancy.

Cooper Taylor Chartered Accountants has more than 40 years in business and is a widely respected
firm of accountants.

With our base in Nantwich near Crewe we offer accountancy services to individuals and businesses
across the whole of Cheshire, North and Mid Wales, Shropshire and the surrounding areas.
One of the most significant of those is Lisa Dyas, from Madeley, who
becomes Senior Manager at Nantwich.

She said: "My passion is seeing businesses succeed and being able
to support and advise business owners and managers to achieve not
only their business goals but also their personal goals."

The 39 year-old, who qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998, has
been the Accounts and Business Services Team Manager at
Barringtons head office in Newcastle for the past four years and is
relishing this added responsibility to her role.

A mum of one, Lisa is also looking forward to helping women juggle
the demands of home life and running their own business.

She added: "This is particularly important when it comes to supporting
women in business. Self esteem is often an issue, especially with start

really help to bolster their confidence."
"It's not just about "doing their books" but advising them on all manner of financial issues which can impact on their lives and

The firm is now an integral part of the Barringtons group and has experts in VAT and customs duties as well as tax investigations
and litigation support. Through its associated company BCR, it handles insolvency and corporate recovery. The combined 55 strong
team also advises on business growth and HR issues.

Managing director Phil Wood said: "We get excellent feedback from clients who have any dealings with Lisa. More women are going
into business than at any other time in British history and Lisa certainly has an empathetic approach to their business needs. She
will be an excellent addition to the Nantwich office."
